Collin Cooper
Co-Founder & Managing Partner
Collin Cooper is a Texas-born commercial real estate and private equity professional with more than a decade of experience in acquisitions, capital formation, and deal structuring. Known across the state as a trusted resource for capital allocation, he combines pragmatic financial judgment with a home-grown work ethic and a reputation for dependable execution.
Before founding Palmetto Capital, Collin spent formative years as a Texas banker serving families whose balance sheets spanned ranching, farming, energy, healthcare, manufacturing, and multi-generational real estate holdings. It was there — where he stepped out from behind his desk to begin proactively pursuing value-creation opportunities on behalf of those families — that the vision for Palmetto began to take shape.
Collin has built durable partnerships with investors, operators, and lenders by working directly with principals and leading complex transactions from sourcing to close. He holds a BBA in Finance from Texas A&M Mays Business School.
Ryan Moore
Co-Founder & Managing Partner
Ryan is a disciplined operator and capital allocator who combines the speed and decisiveness of an entrepreneur with a thoughtful and deliberate approach to investing.
He got his start in real estate as a summer analyst at Goldman Sachs and began his career at Cypress Equities, where he underwrote more than $900 million of retail and mixed-use assets and oversaw four regional malls totaling over $185 million. After Cypress Equities, he joined the founding team of DHI Communities — DR Horton’s multifamily development platform — Ryan helped scale the business to become the sixth-largest multifamily developer in the U.S. within five years (NMHC). He has managed in excess of $1 billion of assets and executed over $500 million in successful dispositions.
A proven investor and operator, Ryan brings institutional rigor, deal-level creativity, and hands-on execution to every project. He graduated Magna Cum Laude with a B.B.A. in Finance from Texas A&M University — Mays Business School.
